Toronto, ON – Owners of Cambrian Springs, Meir and Moshe Cohen, are proudly sponsoring and hosting a charity event on the 22nd of January in support of Chai Lifeline, a children’s charity which provides support to children and their families who are affected by a serious illness.
The Cohen are proud members of Team Lifeline, the charity’s marathon running team whose inspiration is to raise funds for Chai Lifeline’s cause. As part of this team, members undergo intense training participating in four races each year, including the New York City Marathon, to bring awareness to the organization’s cause.
The cocktail charity event will feature esteemed Kosher chef, Shaby Heltay, who will be cooking up some delicious hors d’œuvres from her new cookbook Spicy Kosher.
William Kimmel, Fabricland CEO and Caption of Team Lifeline, will also speak at the event to give an inside look at the team’s 5am early morning training schedule.
Moshe Cohen says, “We’re conscious that supporting Chai Lifeline means more than handing over a financial contribution. We want to actively participate and we know that the funds raised will improve the quality of life for so many brave children and families fighting serious illness.”
About Chai Lifeline:
Since 1987, Chai Lifeline has been helping seriously ill children and their families gain support through community programs that aim to provide normalcy to their family life. The programs provide emotional, social and financial assistance so that families are able to endure the challenges and the crises of managing a serious pediatric illness.
